The Erwins Win a Dove Award
The Erwins have won their first (and hopefully not last) Dove Award for their song “The Power Of An Empty Tomb,” as Southern Gospel Song of the Year. This is such an important award and represents a great ministry milestone for The Erwins.
A message from Keith Erwin regarding the nomination and win:
“On behalf of all of The Erwins, we want to first and foremost give absolute Glory to Our Lord Jesus for this award. We are all incredibly grateful, humbled and honored to receive this amazing recognition. This has special meaning when considering the other powerful songs that were nominated in this category, sung by our Gospel music heroes like: Gaither Vocal Band, Karen Peck and New River, Scott Fowler and Legacy 5 and our dear friends, The Sound.
We want to thank again, the Gospel Music Association members for this honor. We are very thankful to Joel Lindsey for writing such an important song and allowing us to record it. We greatly appreciate our record label, StowTown Records, none of this would have happened without the leadership of Ernie Haase, Landon Beene, Nate Goble and Wayne Haun and their amazing staff.
Last, but certainly not least, we want to thank YOU, our fans, for your Christian love and support for helping us proclaim the Gospel in song!
We love each and every one of our fans dearly, and are incredibly thankful for your love.”
